After reading about our Customizer App. in the LA Times, Vans were on the phone the very next day. We enjoyed an intimate and collaborative relationship developing a ‘one-of-a-kind’ Boardshort program, using the signature Vans silhouettes and archive. Our technology was embedded within Vans own website, and pushed orders through to our own cut and sew factory in Los Angeles. Once again with pre-cut components and specially formatted printers, orders could be turned around within 48 hours. This type of garment ‘individuality’ has still not been replicated some 15 years on.
