DAWN READY is an independent Documentary Short that intertwines the extraordinary worlds of two modern day heroes, and the parallels  that exist within their relentless focus on pushing the boundaries of their careers and training.

Big wave surfer Laird Hamilton and Military Jet Fighter Pilot Daniel Robinson are on a mission to constantly revolutionize their equipment and the readiness required to achieve their goals.

This is a story of new friendship and trust, with unique exchanges in their view on life, their process and their unstoppable drive to keep going. A thrilling and intimate glimpse of what it takes to be ‘Ready on Go Day’.

The filmic style tells two stories at once, weaving a perfect central thread with a symmetry to the shots and the editing throughout the entire film. The conceptual parallels that exist with their pursuits, the environments, the danger, the speed and above all the characters.

With a unique musical score by renowned Austrian Composer Walter Mair - The composition captures the intensity of conversation and a ‘feeling of the pace’ up to the crescendo.
