Bespoke Furniture Commission.
As ‘Creatives’ we always welcome the chance to work in alternative design disciplines, and although we had previously worked on a selection of ‘Furniture’ commissions, the brief from the Executive Chef at London’s Mandarin Oriental was a challenge. They already had basic, double bar stools, but they wanted to elevate the Mandarin Bar aesthetic and introduce a fresh narrative. We conceived and developed the TANGO, an intimate statement in solid Walnut and Connelly Leather, designed in a mid century style.

Mandarin Bar & Restaurant Menu Design.
Similarly to the furniture requirement. The brief for the Mandarin Restaurant and Bar menus also required 100% bespoke solutions. They wanted the ultimate in the print, and in the engineering of this collateral. We used custom fabric prints, upholstery techniques, one of a kind bindings and a selection of other experimental finishes to create this beautiful suite of Menus.
